A Game Camera is a remotely operated camera which can placed in locations where the photographer cannot be. The camera uses a sensor to detect the presence of the subject and activates the mechanism for taking the picture. These have become very popular for use by hunters to photograph game in it's natural habitat during normal movement patterns. They incorporate flashes for low light situations and many utilize infrared technology.
